ABOUT US

Award-winning Gracias Choir has advanced the choral music landscape for the past 20 years. With their First Prize win at the most prestigious choir music competition in the world, Gracias Choir has been officially recognized as the best choral music group in the world.

Gracias Choir music is inspired by the love and thankfulness toward God that each member embraces. Gracias has the unique ability to touch the hearts of its audiences and change lives in the process. 

​One bold musical color created through self-sacrifice; harmonious sounds birthed from the essence of the soul and forged into transformative music. This is what defines Gracias Choir.

 

MUSIC OF GRACIAS CHOIR 

Gracias Choir performs music ranging from the classics to many popular contemporary works, which include extended genres of music such as musicals and semi-classics. Local traditional songs, which express the beauty of each respective country, sung in their native languages is a special repertoire of the Gracias Choir that allows them to approach the international community more closely. More than anything else, the praise that comes from the heart of the choir members seeps deeply into the hearts of the audience and moves their souls.



COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE 

The Gracias Choir has grown into a world renowned choir. In 2009, the Gracias Choir won the Jeju International Choral Competition, and followed on to compete in 5 major international choral competitions in Europe. The Gracias Choir won the Grand Prix a the the 13th Riva Del Garda International Choral Competition in Italy, the 1st Prize and the Audience’ Choice Award at the 50th Montreux International Choral Competition in Switzerland, and also won the Grand Prize (the highest prize) and Special Prize at the Marktoberdorf International Choral Competition in Germany. The Gracias Choir has been recognized for its excellence in musicality and has taken on being the best choir in the world.

Precaution when watching a performance
- Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the show as admission may be restricted after the performance begins.

- Audience members may enter upon the guidance of the ushers as to not disrupt the performance for other audience members.

- Please do not stand during the performance as it may interfer with performance for the viewers in the back. Please sit upright with your back against the seat and refrain from kicking the seat in front of you.

- Be sure to turn off your cell phone during the performance as the vibrating sound of your cell phone can interfere with the performance.

- Please pay close attention to the childeren to avoid causing inconvenience to other audience members when watching the performance.

- Photography or recording is strictly controlled as it infringes on the copyright of the performance, so please turn off all media devices inside the performance hall.

- Only bottled water with lids are allowed into the concert hall. Bouquets of flowers, food, and pets are prohibited.

- Traffic congestion around the venue is expected on the performance day, so please arrive with plenty of time before the performance.
